NCMACC has never stopped working and dreaming. For the last twenty years, we have developed and maintained programs while continuously creating new ones. Alongside, marketing and fundraising efforts hardly have taken a break in order to fuel our existing programs and new plans. In 2012, we launched our capital campaign for NCMACC’s twentieth anniversary in order to obtain our own building in an effort to expand and diversify our program. Although we were not able to obtain mortgage due to an insufficient down payment, we experienced the sense of togetherness as a community of our students, families, staff and the board of directors.
Our twenty-first year is another new beginning. Although our main emphasis has been providing music education for children, I also envision helping grown-ups in the community experience fulfillment and joy through chorus, chamber music and other music and art-related activities in the near future. A non-profit organization is truly for the community.
The last twenty years have helped us think and grow with style. We, grown-ups and children alike, will go on learning and dreaming together.
