Jiyon Son

Jiyon Son (voice, piano, music theory) studied in Seoul and holds B.M. and M.M. degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She has performed with KAMSA, the SFCM Baroque Orchestra, San Francisco Noontime Concerts, and the Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society. Her administrative work includes serving as Program Manager for the International Summer Music Festival (2000–2003) at SFCM. She co-composed Hungbu & Nolbu, staged at the Cowell Theater with San Francisco Arts Commission support, and has directed church music at Calvary Presbyterian Church (Castro Valley) and Good News Presbyterian Church (San Francisco).
