Biography
Pianist Youngsill Ahn (piano) is an active performer and educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area, appearing regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. She earned her M.M. from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and her B.M. from Seoul National University.
Ahn’s accolades include prizes at the Dong-A Music Competition, JoongAng Music Competition, and the Joanna Hodges Competition (Brahms division). As winner of the SFCM concerto competition, she performed as soloist with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Orchestra. She maintains a vibrant teaching studio while continuing an active schedule of ensemble collaborations and recitals.
